Justin M Lewis has been dancing since 5, studying at Knock On Wood Tap Studio in MD becoming a member of the Pre-Professional Company, Tappers With Attitude (TWA). Under TWA, he danced on famous stages like Radio City Music Hall, Lincoln Theatre, Kennedy Center, Wolf Trap, Blues Alley, The Smithsonian, National Corcoran Gallery, The Apollo Theatre and has toured the UK, as well as performed at Super Bowl 52. He was a principle dancer at Universal Studios Hollywood in “Tap Worx” and is currently a dancer and Artistic Director for Rhythmic Circus’ “Feet Don’t Fail Me Now”, and The “Holiday Shuffle.” Justin is a Master Tap Choreographer and Artistic Director at Studio Bleu Dance Center in VA. He runs the Tap program, choreographs for 50+ studios, and is an Adjunct Professor at Shenandoah University. Justin was nominated for “Best Tap Routine of the Year” in 2014, had choreography performed at the “Young Choreographers Festival” in 2015 and is a recipient of “ACE Awards” NYC with his company The JaM Project for the Doobie Brothers “Long Train Runnin” video. He has instructed at Tap festivals such as RIFF in Dallas, Little Rock Tap Festival, DC Tap Festival and Tap Into a Cure Canada.
