Rebecca Cannaday
Convention Teacher/Head Judge/JudgeRebecca Cannaday is a New York City-based Professional Dancer, Teacher, and Choreographer. She is an alumna of the School of Jacob’s Pillow and has performed for Buzzfeed, Spotify, and JetBlue. Her stage credits include performances in "Virtuoso" choreographed and directed by Charles Renato, the American Tap Dance Foundation’s "Rhythm in Motion," "In the Groove" directed by Dormeshia, the Battery Park Dance Festival, "Gotta Dance" at the Ted Shawn Theatre at Jacob’s Pillow, and at the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. Rebecca is on the Tap faculty at Broadway Dance Center and the Joffrey Ballet School. She has also been a Guest Artist for the Metropolitan School of the Arts, Southern Illinois University, Montana Dance Arts Association, and Maine Dance Teachers Club. Rebecca has taught at major Tap festivals such as RIFF Dallas, Swingin' Into Summer, and The Woodshed Experience. Her award-winning choreography has been presented in venues across the Tri-State area, along the East Coast, and on the "Inside/Out" stage in Becket, MA.
